ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day is probably Australia's most important national occasion, which is on 25th April each year,to remember the brave persons who have served our country in times of war.ANZAC stands for Australia and New Zealand Army Corps. Also, there is a bridge called'ANZAC Bridge'which marks the same. The Australia soldiers are called Diggers. The pride the Diggers took in those forces endures to ANZAC Day.There were many heros from those wars likeSimpson and his famous donkey named'Duffy'.
Every year, there is a ceremony follow a pattern which is familiar to generations of Australians. It may include the following features:the Ode,prayer, laying of wreaths. All of the activities show the Australian's thanks to the people who fought for their country. And the flowers and wreaths they lay at the bottom of a war memorial is also a way of saying they have remembered those brave people.
